I have tested this with uTube v1.1 on Umbraco 4.6.1. Created a new media-type, with the only property using the uTube Single Video Picker data-type. I could save the media item with no errors/exceptions.

Curious what caused the issue with your media-type, could you supply any further details? Thinking towards a conflicting data-type.

I also created a new media type with only the Single Video Picker data-type on it. If I try to create a new media item of the new media type it already shows an error:

Server Error in '/' Application.

It only happens with this datatype.

I know that's related to another package, but I only get this exception when using the uTube Single Video Picker datatype.

Hi Jeroen.

Would you mind sharing the other packages that you are using? As I can't reproduce the issue using a fresh Umbraco 4.6.1 install.

Thanks, Lee.

It's a pretty long list ;)

Robots.txt Editor
Config Tree
Gecko Uploadify
uComponents
AutoExport2DotNet
Sitereactor Standard Values
Digibiz Load Cache
Digibiz Email Form with TinyMCE
Digibiz Advanced Media Picker
Examine index admin
FALM Housekeeping
CultivSearchEngineSitemap
Embedded Content
Content Maintenance Dashboard
Axendo Disabled Properties
301 URL Tracker
Embedded Content
Twitter for Umbraco
uTube

Will also try it on a clean install myself. Thanks!

It was a weird one, I couldn't replicate it properly - had an issue trying to install "Sitereactor Standard Values" - so was thinking it was that or "AutoExport2DotNet" causing the problem?
I'll close the ticket. Please re-open it if the problem occurs again.
